And Microsoft has now downgraded Claria and other adware to IGNORE so you 
will never have the chance to block it.

Yep!  And I have confirmed that all three are active and all 59 checkpoints 
are checked.

As I mentioned in my reply to Judith, I now suspect the default settings 
that I want to be able to change are in the definitions file and not 
accessible to the end user.
