-=PCTechTalk=- Re: mac vs pc

Well the best art program is Twisted Brush and I have a
perpetual license so all upgrades are free. Beats constantly
having to pay for upgrades like the other programs. Plus I
think it has 3000 brushes and you can paint in all mediums on
any type of canvas or paper you want.

Here is the website:

And the reason you always hear "go with a Mac" is -- it used to
be better but not anymore. Why? Because programmers make their
software for the biggest Market share and that, as we all know,
is the PC. Art Programs and Movie Programs are just as good as
what's on a Mac especially if you have a View Sonic Monitor.

BTW Mac Users are very diehard (LOL) so of course they promote
Mac.

Hi Judith,

Thanks for the opinion and info ;). I have always been a PC
user since 1997
so changing may very well be confusing for me. I just always
hear from Mac
users that for multimedia, go with mac. I use Pinnacle v. 10 for
movie
editing. What do the art programs you mentioned do
specifically, how do
they differ? I think I am buying an external hard drive for
backup storage
this weekend, put all my files and photos and movies on it, then
cleaning
out my computer really good and looking at a second computer to
buy. I hate
to spend alot but want something with some power to it and
plenty of memory.

thanks,

Christine
