Thanks Terry, I will keep that for future reference. I actually think I finally figured out how to set the duration correctly. The software defaulted to one minute. So I then had to slide the bar on the graph down to 20-30 seconds and save the selection rather than just regular save and I saved the file as mp3 and as wav. Played them back and both work and are the same duration which is what I wanted. Now I have to do the same on another program, wave creator.
