-=PCTechTalk=- Re: laptop problem

Barb, I regularly fix desktops with the same problem, works every time. It must
have been a CMOS password, I use Hirens Boot CD to remove admin passwords..

His Mom called her boss but he said he didn't know anything about those
laptops so couldn't help her. Somebody told me once that they had that
happen on a desktop they bought and that they had solved the dilemma by
taking the "battery" off the motherboard and leaving it off for awhile. He
said it then seemed to forget that it had a password. Does that really
work???

thanks
