Hi Milady,
you have to type in " cmd " in the run box in XP
that will bring up the command prompt.

Then enter the IPCONFIG command.

Doesn't typing WINIPCFG in the start/run do this? Boy
its been awhile for me on that one. And some/most ip
addresses are dynamic ie. they change although there
are programs that will track this for you and make the
changes necessary if you are running your own server
and need a fixed address. But like I say it's been
awhile.
