-=PCTechTalk=- Re: internet access sign in question and outlook express question

The window is probably from your EMail, do you use Outlook? When
I go offline in Outlook it aks me if I want to disconnect. One
easy way to not use Earthlink Total Access crap is to use
Firefox. There is a way to disable it without uninstalling, but
I can't remember how, maybe it's Internet options and the default
programs, but I can't remember for sure, it could have been a
setting in the Total Access.
A wierd thing is I tried to access a website and it wouldn't
completely load, no matter how many times I refreshed, first I
tried with Firefox, then IE, IE loaded a little further than
Firefox, but neither would load the complete page, (i have an
extremely slow dial-up connection) so I tried Opera, it loaded
completeley with NO problem at all, actually loaded rather
quickly, compared to what I'm used to. And Off Topic, it's a
pretty interesting page about banned rock and roll songs. If
you're interested it's: http://www.classicbands.com/banned I
liked the survey the Reverend did in 1975, I thought the
conclusion was pretty funny.

outlook express question

Gman,

One more quick question, I noticed a window just now when getting
ready to
go offline that (Earthlink) asked me if I wanted to auto
disconnect, I
clicked no. I fear this window may come back to haunt me from
now on, seems
a long time ago it drove me nutz.. must have something to do with
one of the
connection settings I changed maybe dont know?

christy,
