-=PCTechTalk=- Re: interesting situation

I don't need to USE it as far as browser is conserned but if I ever needed to
get to my mail on the site I couldn't without that browser..unless there is a
way around it. I never use that log on for the most part. Only if I have to
for some reason get into mail, which is almost never since I use OE-- Just use
the browser and use favorites..

Do you need the ISP browser to logon? You could do a new connection
manually instead and remove the ISP IE6 from your desktop. Just an idea...
I hate when ISPs bamboozle you into installing their diallers and IE¨.
They usually install a lot of other "dog poo" ROFL! "to enhance your
  internet experience..." All useless!

I have two icons for IE6...one is there via my ISP and the other is what
came with Win... I just tried to change the logon page for the ISP browser
to something I wanted... it wouldn't change..
just now I opened up the independant browser and thar she be.. THAT one
opens to the site I set up the other to do.. The home version must be
overriding anything other than what it wants...odd...
