-=PCTechTalk=- Re: integrated audio and video

Onboard sound has gotten a lot better, but low end systems are still
persnickety and poor quality. I don't like onboard video at all. I've
never seen good onboard video - quality or performance. Before you buy
consider something with at least a video card and not onboard video.

Weaver was rumoured to have uttered....

          | Bob,
          | I don't have the computer yet, I am thinking about buying it.
          | It is a Dell
          | Dimension 2350. It has integrated audio and video, and I
          | wonder if this is
          | good. It is a brand new one.

          | Hi Jo Ann
          | If you have the manual on your MB, take a look in it and se if
          | it tells you
          | how to turn it off.
          |
          | If you do not I suggest you visit the MB manufactures web site
          | and see if
          | they have one you can d/l. You might also check the bios
          | manufacture.
          |
          | I got in kind of late on this thread, so forgive me if this
          | has already been
          | discussed.
          |
          | I, also, do not know if you have said the make of the MB.
          |
          | Life is what happens in between plans.
