Hi Jo Ann,
there is frequently space inside the computer for more hard drives that=
just in the drive bays.
You will be able to see once the case is opened up.
Or you could purchase an external hard drive case and connect it to the=
computer via USB or Firewire.
This site explains with photos how to add a hard drive;
http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/step/14/
I like to partition my hard drives into at least 3 partitions.
10gig for operating system
10gig for installed programs
20 gig to backup the first 2 partitions
I backup my photos to CD so I can take them with me to show to friend onr=
put on my other computers.

I finally got around to getting a larger hard drive. Running XP home on
Dell 2350, 2000 CPU, 512 megs of RAM. Since I only have one hard drive bay,
I will be replacing the present drive instead of making this a second=
drive.
Will be using a restore XP disk. Will this be fairly simple? The new drive
is 160 gigs. Should I partition, and if so, how many and what size
partitions? Don't do any video. The largest use will be my MP3 collection
and family photos. I'm a bit of a picture nut. Opinions please?
