The blue connector ones are the newest most likely and support cable
select positioning of drives.

Can someone explain the difference between the ide cables with the blue
connection as opposed to the one with the regular black connection?
Also, the UDMA cable, which to me looks exactly like the ide cable, and
I was toold I could use these UDMA cables instead of ide cables.

If I have a CD burner and a few hard drives, which cables can I use for
these?
