Hi Don, Actually the computer where the help files work is a "Dell". My other one which is a different brand and bought from Best Buy is the one with lost help files. I did what you suggested a year ago, called any support I could think of, none helped. At first I thought it was only on one program I had "family tree maker" but find other programs help files wont work either, I tried support and tried my restore disk twice. So, the only other option I could think of is to buy a copy of win xp home and try installing from scratch again.
