    I really don't recommend installing the Lite version in order to 
uninstall the remnants of the full version.  There are far too many things 
it would miss (since those things don't exist in the Lite version) and may 
cause more harm than good.

    It should help considerably to run a Registry cleaner to get rid of some 
of the leftover Reg keys, though.  When Windows starts, the Registry 
instructs it to also fire up numerous support files for many the 
applications installed (or believed to be installed).  In fact, that same 
process is what causes all of those extra icons in your Notification Area 
(formerly known as the System Tray) before you do anything.  Nero is one of 
the apps that has a lot of its support files in that category, so a registry 
cleaning should eliminate the entries that start up those Nero support 
files.

    Keep in mind that a Registry cleaning will only get rid of registry 
entries.  Many of Nero's support files will still be sitting in your System 
folders until you do.  So, even after cleaning the registry, if you ever do 
come across the installation file for Nero 7 Premium, don't hesitate to go 
through with installing it so it can be uninstalled properly.  And we'll be 
right here to help with that as needed.             :O)
