Hi Tricia, The LU part stands for Live Update and this file is associated with the updating process for various Symantec/Norton products. My first question is whether or not your Norton or Symantec program has been keeping itself up to date with definition files or program updates. If it hasn't, this is a serious problem that needs to be taken care of as soon as possible so that you're not behind on your system's protection. I'm extremely interested in when it pops up. Is there any other activity that occurs along with it or does it just pop up on its own? Does it always happen at a certain time or is there any other time-based pattern to the issue?
