I tired to remove messenger and once done then AOL AIM then opened..somehow OE 
is tied to somethng that requires one of those THINGS to be loaded to open.. 
unless one of those  is in installed OE just won't open..I would LOVE to solve 
THAT.

Removing MSN / Windows Messenger from Win XP
Here are the instructions for removing MSN Messenger from Win XP. Before you
begin, make sure that you exit out of and completely close the Messenger.

1. Click on Start

2. Click on Run

3. Type in the following line: RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
%windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove 

4. Click OK

This should completely uninstall MSN Messenger from your Win XP system.
