That is because the folder where they are kept is different on every 
machine.  That is why I change the store folder first thing when I do a 
clean install or move to a new computer.

In OE click tools/options/maintenance/store folder.

highlight the folder (but be careful NOT to change it), copy and then paste 
it into the address bar in explorer and you will find them.

When you change your store folder, you copy the existing files in the store 
folder to whatever new location you choose.  The files are then deleted from 
the original store folder.  The process overwrites any existing files of the 
same name that might already exist in the new location.
