GMan,
If you buy a cd or a single from a store, you are playing it on your 
stereo... a neighbour drops by... do you switch the music off?  My view is 
that as long as Christine paid for the song and is not making money from it 
she can send it as she pleases.  In the Microsoft stationery newsgroup most 
posts (stationery) have streamed music either in wma or asf format and I 
have never seen any copyright issue arise from that.  Thats MHO :o))

    I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that the moment you 'send' it, you'll
be violating the copyright.  Personal use never includes other family
members.
