I talked to Pam shortly after she successfully subscribed and sent her
request for help. At that point she was having problems (maybe the computer
was having problems?? :-) getting Outlook Express to come up so she could
continue. She asked me to tell you that and also that they were leaving
town for ballgames this week-end and that is the reason she is not
responding immediately. I would expect that she will call me Monday if she
still cannot send e-mail. I will let you know if that is the case.
In our conversation about why this is happening I explained that attachments
are often the source of infections. Then she recalled that they get a lot
of attachments from the school and also from the baseball and softball
teams. So I told her how to save those attachments to her desktop and run
an AVG virus scan before opening. I am not nearly as good at explaining
things as you are,G, so you may have to restate how that is done.
