G, just had a call from Pam this morning and she encountered difficulty
getting in and out of Safe Mode. Ended up with a black screen and rebooting
did not help. She thinks she followed instructions properly and thinks the
virus just would not let her do what she needed to do. Anyway she mentioned
clicking on restore to most recent configuration and that did not work
either. It does not sound like she ever got to run MB in Safe Mode! Bottom
line is that the computer went back to the shop this morning.
If I remember correctly one needs to use the arrows to move around in Safe
Mode?
I am going to see if I can get in and out of Safe Mode. I kind of remember
being "lost" without the mouse. Anyway, if you don't hear from me for a
while you will know that I am also lost in "la la" land! :-)
