"ml", This may not work for you, but with my HP I can go to start / set 
program access and defaults / custom / OK / find "set program access and 
defaults button and cilck.  If custom is not already selected, select it and 
you will have an option to set the browser U want.

Mine has a twitch and if custom is already selected I have to check windows 
click ok and then check custom.
