It had a selection that said "capture", otherwise I did not know how to 
transfer it from the camcorder to the pc, by just plugging it in the usb 
port did not work, it just kept saying connecting ..but when I opened up the 
program that came with the camcorder and chose capture it worked. I dont 
know ;0
