I'm not a camcorder buff, but from what I understand, you are worrying about
a capture device for nothing.  The data on the camcorder HD is already in a
digital format, so it should just be a matter of transferring from camcorder
to PC - where you then would edit it.  Firewire transfer is preferred over
USB, but I guess there's no firewire output on that camcorder.
