Please note:  Most motherboards have at least two banks of RAM.  On some 
motherboards each bank is a single slot.  On other motherboards, each bank 
is TWO slots.

If you go to www.crucial.com and use their utility it will tell you if you 
need to buy a single stick (single slot bank) or two sticks (two slot bank). 
Other RAM sites may have a similar utility but I never buy anything but 
Crucial.
