Yes, I have done lots of business online. Mostly thru Ebay using my Paypal
account. I have also ordered throught Newegg.com, Tigerdirect.com, and
Outpost.com.
Outpost.com is the web site for Fry's Electronics in case you didnt know.
To this point I havn't had one issue with anybody trying to use any of my
information in a negative manner.
So yea, I believe you would be safe enough ordering thru Outpost.
As far as your earlier question about what to ask the sales person for.
When you order the stick, all you need to do is specify what speed and size
stick you want.
What we have been discussing is a 512mb stick of PC2100 ddr memory to match
the one you already have in the other slot.
I went and rechecked the first site I sent you to for specs about what they
offered there. One of the manufacturers that they list as compatible is
Kingston, just like the other link I sent you for Outpost.com
So, if you order the stick from Outpost, you should be in great shape.
Also if you want to know about what you can do for the Dell, go back to the
first site we talked about and run a scan on it from there. Then you can
make an informed decision about it also.
Hope this helps, Scott.

With a price like that maybe I can add another 512 meg of memory to my Dell
computer also, it has 512 on it now. I need to see what kind that takes. I
was going to ask you if you ordered through outpost before, looks like you
have so it is probably pretty secure to order through. I dont do lots of
online ordering but doing more and more.
