-=PCTechTalk=- Re: .avi Trouble?

The virus that I got was from a DIVX4 (i think) codec pack however it wasn't
picked up by AVG (my virus software) until just the other day. The codec
(virus) was installed months ago.
I regularly update AVG but it didn't find the virus originally. It took 4
days of constant scanning and rebooting to get rid of the damn thing. It
was called 'Manifest' or something like that.

Indeed, do a google search instead...most codecs can be found on a cost
free basis.

If you do have to use Kazaa or the like, make sure you run your virus
checker over it.
