-=PCTechTalk=- Re: any one on here use winamp library?

Hank,
I'm still running 2.x, so I'm not familiar with the new version. Still,
I may be able to help.

First up is your WinAmp library. I'm not sure what you mean by library,
but if you're talking about the list of tunes loaded into WinAmp for
playback, here's how to clear it (at least in earlier versions). Left click
on one of the files. Next, press CTRL and the A key on your keyboard. This
should select all of the entries in the list. Finally, press the Delete key
on your keyboard. This won't delete the files. It'll just remove them from
the list in WinAmp.

As for the filenames and their extensions, open up Windows Explorer and
make your way into your external drive, do the files show the correct
extension in there? If so, the problem lies solely in WinAmp and we can
better limit our efforts to that app.

Peace,
GMan
