-=PCTechTalk=- Re: annoying dial up login window p.s.also reformat question

Hi Gman,

Happy New Year!. I am going home tomorrow. I do have another question
though regarding my "F drive" that I tried using BC wipe on and reformatting
it. I only let it do 3 out of 7 passes as I did not know it took that
long!..while doing it though a few times it said low space which I thought
odd, I could see if it said low memory. Also the first time I tried
formating F drive, it did not delete the program files and antivirus file or
windows system files, tried again and it did show a message window about
system restore being turned on and would not delete certain files? I
finally think I got it to reformat and do not see any files of any kind on
it.Seems I may have finally been successful. Question is do you have to
turn off system restore when reformatting a drive?

thanks,

Christine
