-=PCTechTalk=- Re: adaware scan

Yes. delete it. It is spyware. If you do it through adaware you shouldn't
have any problems except with whatever download aureate came with probably
won't work anymore. To be safe, copy those files to a floppy just in case
remembering which folder they came in.

rumoured to have uttered....

          | Im running Adaware for first time since my recent
          | format/reinstall and found 119 items.
          |
          | I deleted all but these...
          |
          | Aureate file:C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\adimage.dll
          | Aureate file:C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Amcis2.dll
          | Aureate file:C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\htmdeng.exe
          | Aureate file:C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IPCClient.dll
          | Aureate file:C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\msipcsv.exe
          | Aureate file:C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\tfde.dll
          |
          | Is it safe to delete these?
          |
          | I get a little nervous deleting anything from the system
          | folder.
          |
          | Thanks.
