ok... now I have more info... when you go to the *group* I am assuming that
you are using a website, such as yahoo, to view the attachments.  your
problem may be a slow connection to the website itself,  the amount of
traffic on the site, the size of the actual attachment, or that the image
has been imbedded into the mail and not attached.

try cleaning out your cache or temporary internet files, rebooting, then go
back to the group's website and see if that helps out any.  you can check
your connection speed to the site by pinging it.  compare the ping with the
site you are going to with another one that is not related to your group.
