-=PCTechTalk=- Re: XP Mouse Issues

With xp you can always set a restore point before each update - then go back to
that restore point prior to the one causing the problem. Some updates will
allow you to uninstall - but not all of them.
No clue on question 2....

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- XP Mouse Issues

Okay after much fiddling around and getting nowhere with getting my mouse to
work I decided to completely reinstall Windows XP (another clean install).

Now I have a mouse again -- but I haven't done any of the Windows updates. I
seem to recall that it worked the first time I isntalled XP as well, but
after doing all the updates it stopped working -- so I have a question.
Should I go and do the updates one at a time to see which one may have
caused the problem? And if I am able to identify it -- how do I "unapply"
the particular update? (Probably through add/remove programs....?)

Question 2 -- Now when I boot up I have 2 Windows XP listed in my Choose OS
screen -- how do I get rid of the 2nd one from that list so it doesn't keep
asking me?

Thanks in advance,
~Lacey~
