the article about windows service pack 2 that was sent in said it included msn
messenger - I questioned that also -
you can't actually get rid of it - you have to re-name the folders. (there is a
way to get rid of it, but I was told it could make microsoft programs not
work...)

I 'think' you mean windows messenger.... MSN messenger is different..but
LOOKS the same...

my other half is having a devil of a time getting rid of it.

I forgot how.... I know I used the add/remove programs and I am not sure
that actually did it.

But, I know it was discussed on this list.

my understanding it that you just need to change settings and you can view
stationery.
What concerns me - it sounds as though it will install msn messenger again -
so
your computer will once again start calling home every 5 minutes. They
obviously
haven't made it possible to either not install their instant messenger
program -
or to be able to uninstall it.

Maybe I am misinterpreting all this but it SOUNDS like ALL mail coming thru
OE will now be text form whether you like it or not.. no more stationery.
Or am I not understanding it?
