Hi:

Well, I finally got the update done...I looked on the
windows update troubleshooter and it said to change a
dll file (dispex.dll) to an earlier file version and
that this has resolved some win 98 users
problems...there were like 3 different fixes but,
changing the dispex.dll file version did it for me...I
was a little scared there at first because I didn't
know what was going on...no, I was just doing a normal
windows update check to see if they had any critical
updates (as I don't have the thing automatically set
to alert me to new updates) and I kept getting stuck
at o% when I clicked on the scan for updates...they
had a fix for that which I did then I couldn't get the
download to start...that was a lot of work for a
novice like me!  LOL
