Happy to help! I moved from W98 First Edition right into XP Home SP2, so
many of the things that I did in W98 weren't the same as XP. Now that I've
had XP for a several months...I love it!

Thanks Sammi.. Didn't know about those optionst. Win98 always just seemed to
open (and keep open) multiple windows automatically.. I guess this is an XP
'improvement"!!?

Have you tried right clicking on an empty spot on the taskbar and choosing
Tile - either Vertical or Horizontal, whichever will work best for what you
want to do? Have the window you want on the left hand side showing on top.
Then don't forget to reverse the 'tile' by right clicking once again and
choose Undo Tile

With my WinXP I can open a window, then open up a second window, and both
stay. But if I click anywhere in the first window again, the second one
minimizes away.. How can I get both windows to stay open permanently so I
can do drag and drop operations without always having to re-maximize the
second window back up again?
