WinRar handles more compression types and also handles ZIPs.
It's a good program.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- WinRAR
The tech downloaded WinRAR when he was looking for drivers to try on my
video card. From what I have read, it appears I will need to purchase it if
I decide to keep it. Does it have any advantage over WinZip?
Also I noticed that some things, maybe all, that I have downloaded using
WinZip now have the icon associated with WinRAR. What will happen to those
things if I uninstall WinRAR?
