Go into setup and make sure that boot from the CD-ROM drive is enabled.
Once enabled put the Restore or Install disk in the CD drive and reboot. A
floppy disk should NOT be necessary UNLESS it is a bootleg/pirate copy of
Win95 or it is an UPGRADE version that requires proof of ownership of an
earlier OS (Win3.x or MS-DOS).
In either case one of the floppies SHOULD be a boot disk of some sort with
the required DOS files and drivers on it. If not, go online and download a
bootdisk for Win 3.x or MS-DOS. Be sure to get generic CD-ROM drivers.
You might have better luck spending $20 for a new Win95 with USB support.
Here's one of 80K+ hits on a Froogle search for "Windows 95".

In the past I have heartily recommended www.Unlimited-mail.com as an
excellent paid email service with superior customer support. Unfortunately,
I can no longer do that. Apparently they have grown too large to continue
providing customer service like they used to. E-mails to their support
department have gone unanswered for weeks at a time. Also, the email server
suffers from frequent problems that last as little as a few minutes to as
much as several days. I would strongly encourage everyone to consider
alternative email services... especially the new Google mail which is
rolling out free POP/SMTP access for their members.

Had a friend, right now I'm not sure she's a friend, bring over an OLD
computer that had been givin to her.
Who ever she got it from uninstalled 95, or did something to remove 95
and didn't put anything back. They gave her 3 floppies and the CD to
restore it to 95.
The problem is you need the DOS commands to install the damn thing And I
cannot find them anywhere.
When it comes up in dos command mode I get A\: and no mater what I do I
cannot get past this point.
Hopefully someone here will be able to help me.
TIA
