In all the computers I've worked on for customers, and I have worked on
quite a few, I've never found a faulty PSU that's caused damage to =
anything
its been connected to (ie. the mobo). The possibility is there, of =
course,
though rare, in my opinion.
If there something going on with your system that would lead you to =
believe
something's been zapped by the PSU?

Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- When a faulty power supply zaps =

When a power supply suddenly becomes faulty and zaps components, is =3D
there usually a method to it's madness? Does it zap everything, or just =
=3D
the motherboard? If the motherboard gets zapped, does the CPU usually =
=3D
get zapped also? I know there are always variables, but what's the =3D
usual and more common?
