  My sincerest apologies, Kids.

Thinking back on the timeline, I bought a WinModem around the same time I
got NSW 2001 (could have been the same trip to the store). I later
reformatted just as I upgraded my NAV 2001 to the 2002 version. Until
hearing some of the rebuttals on here about it and running some searches on
the subject, I was convinced that it was part of my old NAV installation.
To make matters worse, I found that when PTSNOOP crashed I could no longer
get email, even though my web surfing was unaffected. This further
convinced me that it was needed by NAV as part of its incoming email scan.
I now see how it was part of my WinModem's files.

Sorry for any confusion I caused. I'll just chalk this up as new experience
while fondly recalling that saying about 'assuming' things. LOL

  Peace,
  G Man
