I sounds like Reg Cure messed up Crimson editor. Try running Crimson editor
from the start menu. If it doesn't work then uninstall it and re-install
it. Well, even if that does work you probably need to uninstall it and
re-install it.

When Open With doesn't help, I can often get the association
back by right
clicking and selecting Properties. Once open, click on the
Change button
and use the Browse button (even if it's already listed) to
manually select
the app you wish to use. If this doesn't work, there is another
method but
I'll need to look it up for you.
