Tried all that before I wrote the post and it didn't work. 
Reason I was hoping someone else knew a way.  Thanks.

When Open With doesn't help, I can often get the association 
back by right
clicking and selecting Properties.  Once open, click on the 
Change button
and use the Browse button (even if it's already listed) to 
manually select
the app you wish to use.  If this doesn't work, there is another 
method but
I'll need to look it up for you.
