In my opinion, yes you should all the security Guru's recommend it, as my 
buddy Pete says "You are only as safe as your last update" ; my opinion is 
that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

  It is possible that M$ will have a special update out for this problem 
before their normal Update Tuesday in Oct but only if it becomes 
catastrophic; which in my opinion will be to late.

  Please remember it should be "turned it back on" after the updates come 
out, though you will most likely never be able to tell you turned this off. 
I plan on reminding everyone to "turn it back on" when the time comes, but I 
am also counting on others to remind us as well.
