I don't know anything about that particular trojan, but she 
could try running some programs.

Has anyone ever heard of a trojan called 
trojan.win32.tsupdate.g?  A friend says this has been 
popping up asking for access every time she boots her 
computer up.  I've done a search on a lot of av sites and 
can't find anything.  A google search brought up a few sites 
but, most were in French...
