And you've just explained why artists use Epson printers and 
their ink because they are archival.  Also the Epson color ink 
for my R320 isn't expensive.  The black is the most expensive 
and that surprised me because my HP 720C inkjet is exactly the 
reverse.

Do you ever find that the ink on pictures fades rather quickly? 
I printed
up several 8x11s and for some reason the one that mostly black 
and white
began to fade after about 6 months...it did have some color but 
very little.
The one that was all sorts of colors didn't...????? hmmmm   Had 
a friend
tell me that he had the same problems with pics he printed.. the 
color
doesn't hold up.....
