This looks like a IE hijacker program.
The reason it probably wasn't initially caught by your
software is that pctptt.exe is also a driver for a
particular modem.
Now where you got that little bugger was probably from
a questionable website.
And questionable means any website.
It is hard to spot questionable websites.
So my only recommendation is to go through an internet
log if you have one. Check all the IP's you vistited
the day before. Check your cookies.
Then you can narrower the list down to which website
you got it from. The other problem with that though
is, this bugger might have come from a popup site or
even a banner site.....
So it is a problem with a very time consuming method
to find the offender...
