I didn't see it come through before this, so you may have sent the
question elsewhere. Regardless, here's what I can provide. If you need
more than this, give a yell. :O)
Since there's no way to get absolute readings of a CPU's true operating
temp, they don't really give the figure you're after. Instead, they discuss
the chips living environment and what temps it can handle. The site below
should give you all the info you're after.

If you want to know about the internal environment that different Intel
chips can handle, check out the link below and look for "Table 2" which is
just below the midpoint of the article. You'll see that it shows both
"Maximum Case Temperature" as well as "Maximum Recommended Fan Inlet
Temperature"
