Windows puts them there as a sort of cache. It doesn't need to
create thefile again and can bring up the image much quicker
than downloading itagain.---Troth

Which brings up my question once again. I have IE 6.0, WIN XP
Home and a a Gateway Computer with 500 gigs of memory. When I
click on IE, Tools, Internet Options, General, Delete Cookies
and Temp Files -- it does not clear my cache.
When I go into settings, I also have it checked to check for new
info every time I open IE.
But when I upload new stuff to my sites -- it will not show my
new stuff for several days. So where else is there a cache that
needs to be cleared?
