When it first came thru the link was all in one line and didn't need to be
double copy/pasted as you describe.  

It appears that maybe a piece of the link got lost when you copy/pasted it
from the site to the email message.

Copy/paste the first part into your browser and then copy/paste the second
part next to it in your browser (behind the first part).
