Registry restore has to be different (in Win98) to System Restore (In 
WinMe and WinXP) for the reason that at least 200 megs of free space is 
required for the latter. It does a lot more, but I don't know what(lol). 
SysRest does not uninstall unwanted or conflicting apps that have been 
installed, but it does eliminate the System changes, wherever they 
happen to be, and does exactly what its name implies - restores the 
system. The uninstall process should still be followed.

However, with tongue in cheek, I have read all the many posts re 
SysRest, but nothing has emerged to tell me why I can't get mine to 
behave! Have I mentioned that it used to function excellently, and a 
sweet running machine is a blessing to return to so easily, believe me.
Nevertheless some would have it as a resource hog.
