yeah I remember the geekette that i originally called out here because my 
new external woulnd't work, complained about the FAT that my pc was 
formatted as............i remember her saying she preferred NTFS machines 
and i had no idea (pretty much still don't) what she was talking about, but 
at that point my Me machine would "see" the external, but would not allow me 
to write to the drive until she did her bios magic on it.  I just know that 
those are 2 different ways harddrives are formatted and that's about all.
