Hi Tempting,
A wireless Router will have a built in firewall but you still need a good=
 software firewall.

I have the Linksys WRT54G
it is backwards compatible with B

It also has 4 Cat5 connectors to hard wire to computer as well as the=
 wireless capability.
It has a flash able firewall component which can be tweaked.
Or even hacked (white hat) to use Linux.
Linux on the WRT54G www.batbox.org/wrt54g-linux.html

I also tried out a D-Link DSL-604+ is described as being three boxes in=
one, an ADSL modem, a 4-port router, and a wireless access point; modem on=
the weekend it also had the 4 Cat5 connectors as well as being a=
 combination.
It was easy to upgrade the firmware from their suport site.
But it did not recognsie my Toshiba laptops built in wireless G.

My Teclo/ISP's diagnostics said the unit was defective so I sent it back.
3 hours of time wasted.:<(

Mike ~ It is a good day if I learned something new.
