-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Spybot...

LIkely not spyware..I think I have that dept covered. Probably overkill
even. The notes in Spybot indicate that if a firewall or av is running then
those can be responsible for turning of those indications...They run their
own. I have both and then some So I asked around and came up with just
disabling the situation...

If you have Mcafee, or Norton firewall installed, then they will turn off
the anti virus and firewall notification as they use their own warnings.

If you have no firewall or anti virus installed - and it is disabled then
spyware is a likely culprit.

I was told to right click on that item that shows up and choose to ignore it

in further scans...

Hi folks...

Every time I run Spybot, this comes up twice, "Windows Security Center
AntiVirus Disable Notify". I am unsure if this is something I should
delete, or uncheck? I have always unchecked it before. Is this an
important file or can I delete it? Thank you for any help.

Rita
