I updated Quick Time and then decided to update Win Zip even though I don't
use it rather than uninstall. It went o.k. and I now have another
"evaluation trial" for WinZip. Maybe I should have just uninstalled but
this should fix any risk factor. I am at 98% secure.
Now the last one I need to deal with is Open Office. I purchased a disk to
install Open Office quite a while ago because downloading it with dialup
seemed unrealistic. I don't use Open Office as I have so many card programs
that I use instead. It was just fun to see what Open Office had to offer
(and it is a neat alternative to Microsoft Office) I am trying to decide if
I want to try updating Open Office as it may still take quite a while or
just to uninstall it? Any advise from anyone out there???
